Horseshoe Cleveland to add.
The Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati will be hosting the first World Series of Poker Circuit Tour stop in Ohio from September 19th through September 30th. The full schedule of events boasts a total of 39 tournaments, including satellite, nightly, and circuit ring events.
A two-day No-Limit Hold’em tournament, with a buy-in price of $365, will kick of the tour stop Thursday, September 19th at noon. The stop’s $1,675 Main Event will begin Saturday, September 28th at noon and is scheduled as a three day event. There is a total of 12 Ring Events, 11 satellites, and several nightly and other tournaments scheduled for the 12 day stop. Buy-in prices for the events range from $130 for nightly tournaments, to $1675 for the Main Event. Game formats include No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Limit Omaha 8, with multiple re-buy and re-entry structures.
In addition to prize money, players will be vying for championship points. Each person placing in-the-money during a ring event will receive points toward the circuit championship. The player accumulating the most points during the stop, along with the winner of the Main Event, will win an entry into the “World Series of Poker Circuit National Championship,” to be held at the end of the 22 stop, 2013/2014 season.
Several $1675 seats are being awarded to the Circuit Stop’s Main Event. According to the WSOPC Schedule of Tournaments, the top two finishers in each nightly tournament through September 27th, and the top 18 finishers in the “No-Limit Hold’em Stimulus” event on September 25th, will be awarded entries. In addition, the Horseshoe Cincinnati’s Weekly NL Hold’em Tournament Schedule states the winner of each weekly tournament now through the start of their WSOPC will also be awarded a seat into the Circuit Stop’s Main Event.
The World Series of Poker Circuit Tour will travel through 22 cities this season. It gets underway August 8th, 2013, at its first stop at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut and concludes at Harrah’s in New Orleans May 19th, 2014. The tour added two stops in Ohio this season, with the second stop scheduled at the Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland from March 20th, through March 31st, 2014.
